Cherry Mobile Ace - Firefox Phone Quick Review

I've already been through several Cherry Mobile devices, and those includes the following in chronological order: Phones: Q6i (dead), D11TV(dead), T20i(having defects), Life 1, Flare 1, Omega HD 2.0, Cosmos One and the last one Ace. Tablets: Fusion Bolt and Alpha Play Well as you will notice, the first 3 phones already had issues. That were all CM's feature phones (non-android/ non-smartphones). All the smartphones are still working and are still being used. As a Cherry Mobile user for several years, I can say that all of their smartphones are of good quality, while the non-smartphone / feature phones are all crap (too prone to damage). I've been an Alcatel fan before (813D and 918N), until CM's Flare came into my life :-) Also, you will notice that the phones were arranged to the time that I have purchased/ used the device -- and Ace was last on the list. What happened? Before proceeding with Ace's review, let's first see the device's s

CR-R King Pocket LTE Review

Our neighbor's mini internet shop was badly affected by the recent typhoon Glenda. Their roof at the 2nd floor was thrown away by the typhoon's extremely strong winds, allowing the rain to pour down to the lower floor which houses the mini net café. We're paying just a little amount to them to use the internet - that's a 5mbps DSL connection. As of this writing, they still don't have the internet connection. That triggered me to look for alternatives to sustain the internet connection at our home. I then decided to buy an internet device at which has a comparable browsing speed as I used to before - an LTE device. There's no available LTE pocket wife's out there. There's only 4G pocket wifi available at stores which ranges from P1,995 to P3,500(that's only up to 7.2mbps - not LTE). I tried to apply for an LTE plan at Globe at which you will buy the LTE pocket wifi for P2,999 and pay 299 each month for 50hour LTE usage. Also expensive. Aside, y

Mini HD Camera (MINI DV-006H) Review

I got this unit as a freebie when I had purchased an LED TV from Lazada (see my last post regarding MyView 24PX100 TV Review ). Even up to this moment I still don't know what to do with this mini camera, maybe it was given to me for a purpose which still I have no idea yet. It's just like a keychain, very small that it could be used for spying. The one you're seeing above is it's actual size - it's just 43 x 24 x 10mm (LWD). It has the ability to capture 5megapixel photos and take videos of 1280 x 960 resolution. The camera's actually just 2megapixel, just upscaled to 5mp, doesn't have autofocus so don't expect digicam / smartphone quality photos. For video quality, it's good. It saves videos in .avi video format (quite, but not that heavy for storage). Anyway, this camera is compatible with up to 32gb microsd card. You can even use the unit as a micro-sd card reader when you have the cable with you. See below video review courtesy of YouTub
